Application instructions:

1. Fill nail holes with Fix Wood Patch. Do not use plastic wood.
2. Sand specific areas with 120 sandpaper to clear blemishes.
3. After taking care of holes and blemishes, sand the entire piece uniformly with 180-grade sandpaper.
4. Remove dust with a vacuum and tack cloth.
5. Apply Briwax liberally with fine steel wool, always using a clean portion as soon as the pad begins to clog. It is the heat from the friction of applying Briwax that gives deep luster to a piece finished with Briwax.
6. Allow wax to dry three to five minutes and buff to soft luster with a lint-free cloth.

These instructions apply either for bare wood or over a stained surface.
